Wildlife in Ontario

Some of the types of animals native to Ontario are: beavers, deer, moose, caribou, bears, Canadian geese, polar bears, wolves, and raccoons. Ontario is also home to many other animals due to the amount of undeveloped land and thick forests remaining in the central to northern part of the province.

Ontario is a rapidly developing province of Canada, and that means it is decreasing in habitat for our wildlife. For further information of wildlife in Ontario, please check out 'The Ontario Wildlife Foundation' at www.ontwf.org

If you found this page in search of a wildlife problem in or around your dwelling please check your yellow pages for your local animal control center or prevention to the cruelty of animals center in your area.
